This six-year-old rum from an unnamed distillery in the French Antilles was distilled in 2017 and filled into a American oak cask, maturing at origin before being shipped to Europe in 2021 and filled into a once used bourbon barrel.
We found that this did not fit the mould of a typical agricole style rum, but we enjoyed the divergence that created such a wonderful rum that we hope you enjoy as much as we do.
The label is designed by Toronto-based illustrator James Tuer, whose personal work draws inspiration from 80s sci-fi, vintage travel posters and 90s comic book art. He has also worked with some incredible brands to create outstanding pieces.
This single barrel rum is non-chill filtered with no additives, yielding 225 bottles at a cask strength of 57.6% ABV.
