TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
Please ensure that you read these terms and conditions as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law and set out the terms under which North Coast Distillers Ltd (“we”) makes our products available to you. North Coast Distillers Ltd, trading as North Point Distillery is a business is registered under company law in Scotland, and is lodged with Companies House in Edinburgh under SC652661. Our registered office is Dundonald House, Melvich, KW14 7YJ, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
All orders for goods placed by you using the online webshop portal shall be deemed to be an offer by you, the buyer, to purchase goods pursuant to company terms and conditions. You, the buyer, shall be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the details provided in your order and we will not be obliged to accept an order unless all details requested have been provided correctly.
It is illegal for any person under the age of 18 to buy, or attempt to buy, alcohol for themselves or any person under the age of 18 in the United Kingdom. We therefore require all customers to be at least 18 years to purchase from North Coast Distillers Ltd, regardless of whether you order includes alcoholic or other age restricted products.
PRICING
All prices are shown in Great British Pounds (GBP). The total price charged includes all applicable taxes payable in the UK (including but not limited to alcohol duty, VAT and any local levies). Prices shown on the site for any products offered are subject to change without notice and any price changes will be notified and confirmed to you before despatch.
Prices shown on the site are not inclusive of delivery charges. You will be advised of the cost of delivery on the website at the time your order is accepted. North Coast Distillers Ltd reserves the right to alter the prices of the goods on offer online at any time without prior notice.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

All products offered are subject to availability and we cannot guarantee the availability of the products listed. Our pre-order range is subject to availability and our best estimates for product fulfilment.
If we are unable to fulfil your order we will contact you within 3 working days of receiving your order and offer a full and unrestricted refund using your method of payment.

All pre-orders will be followed up by an email communication outlining our estimated delivery date and any further information pertinent to the pre-order process.

PRODUCT PRE-ORDERS
​
All of our pre-order sales are taken as indications of 'advance purchase' between the customer and ourselves and will be converted into a full (regular) sale when the product becomes available and in-stock.
This means we ring-fence your purchase and your payment and don't record it as a sale until we physically have the product and we are ready to ship it to you. Don't worry though, you don't need to do a thing... we will do this all behind the scenes!
ACCEPTANCE
As all products and services are subject to availability, there will be no contract of any kind between you and us until an order is processed and goods despatched to the address provided. At any point up until then, we may decline to supply the goods to you without giving any reason.
PAYMENT (ONLINE E-COMMERCE & BUSINESS-TO-CONSUMER)
We use Stripe to accept payments on our webshop, allowing customers to use a bank account, credit or debit card to pay for products.
Your payment details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of unauthorised access or disclosure. Authority for payment must be given at the time of order. You will be automatically charged for your order once your payment details have been accepted. Our liability to you in connection with any order will not exceed the total price charged for the relevant items.

PAYMENT (COMMERCIAL & TRADE)
We accept payment by bank transfer (BACS/SWIFT) or through chequing account, where a UK based bank or Building Society account is provided.
All initial orders will require pro-forma payment, with credit terms (not exceeding 30 days) available for repeat customers. We are obligated to ask for information relating to license holders, excise permissions and any other authorisations in related to our licensed trade.
At our discretion, balances past due will incur interest at the Bank of England rate plus 8% until such time as the overdue amounts are settled. We reserve the right to seek recovery through the Scottish Court system in the event that no payment is made voluntarily.
Our liability to you in connection with any order will not exceed the total price charged for the relevant items.
DELIVERY
All deliveries are sent by private courier or using the Royal Mail. We can provide delivery to either a home or work address, as entered on the order. We cannot accept any liability if provided address is incorrect or incomplete. Deliveries to work addresses shall be deemed successful if a representative at that address accepts and signs for the goods.

If your order is time specific please contact our sales team prior to ordering. We might experience delays due to increased orders, if we are aware of any delays we will endeavour to let you know. If goods fail to arrive after 28 days from date of order, please contact us using hello@northpointdistillery.com
We do our best to deliver within 28 days of your order, but shall not be liable for loss occasioned by delay in delivery arising from any cause beyond our control. Orders to addresses within the United Kingdom or its’ protectorates will be dispatched within 3 days and delivered within 5 working days on a signed-for service. In the event that the order is returned to us by the Royal Mail or a private courier ie. ‘non-delivery’, North Coast Distillers Ltd gives the purchaser the option of resending the purchase at the buyer's expense or refunding the purchase less the cost of postage and packing.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
We trust that you will be happy with your purchase. Please ensure that on deliver you check your package carefully and inform use within 3 days if you have the wrong item, or whether an item is damaged. If goods are damaged please contact us straight away using hello@northpointdistillery.com
Purchasers may cancel the order by informing North Coast Distillers Ltd within 7 days of receiving their order. Please return the packaged unopened, sealed and in original condition and within 7 days of the date cancelled, for a full refund. All return shipping is paid by the buyer, and we are unable to refund you for your postal / courier fees.
We are not able to refund any import duties, taxes or administration fees incurred in connection with the delivery or return of the Product.
Liability for loss or damage during transit is also the responsibility of the purchaser.
North Coast Distillers Ltd will refund the purchase within 30 days of you notifying us about the return, to the method of payment used to make the purchase, with no exceptions.
